Get Item P&A - Response

For distributor members only.

The Pricing & Availability Response page displays the results of the pricing and availability item request that you submitted. Trading partners who have the item rationalized and in stock are shown by the following information.

Field:

Description:

Trading Partner

Trading partner's name

Quoted Qty

Quantity of the item the trading partner's system has quoted a price on

Unit Cost

Price per unit of the quoted quantity

Ext. Cost

Extended Cost is the total of the quoted quantity x unit cost

Status

Status of the retrieval process

Field:	Description:
Waiting/Timed Out	The system is waiting for a response. Timed Out appears when the searching period has ended with no result. You cannot select these line-items; the Location and Message tabs cannot be accessed.
Received	Pricing and availability information has been received. A "No Messages" statement appears on the Message tab for this status type.
Message	View the message found on the Message tab. See Get Item PA - Message for more information.
Sale	Identifies the item as a special sale item. See Get Item PA - Message for more information.
No T.P. Relationship	The item you requested is posted as dead stock, or you do not have a relationship with this trading partner. This must be established before doing business with them through Trading Partner Connect. To set up the relationship, see Requesting a Trading Partner Relationship.

To view the details of a trading partner, highlight a line-item by selecting it. A Detail box appears with the following information.

Item ID or UPC of the requested item

Item description as you define it

Requested

Quantity for which you asked pricing and availability

Partner's Description

Trading partner's item description

Available

Total quantity available from the trading partner

Unit of Measure

Quantity unit of measure for the responding trading partner

Received

Number of responses sent and received

This is the page associated with the Response tab, the left-most tab on this Pricing & Availability page. To view location and quantity information for a specific line-item, click the Location tab. To view the system message associated with the line-item, click the Message tab. More information on the Location and Message tabs can be found by clicking the links in the following "See Also" section.

It is important to note that while you can get pricing and availability through the Trading Partner Connect web site, you cannot place orders this way. This is an information only function.
