Contact Information Detail

The Contact Information Detail screen shows you more specific information about a single chosen contact within your company. The screen has four sections: Contact Information, Contact Preferences (Relationships),  Contact Preferences (Inventory), and Contact Preferences (Reporting).

Contact Information

This section details the general business and access information for the contact.

Field:

Description:

First Name

The contact's first name.

Last Name

The contact's last name.

E-mail

The contact's e-mail address. Trading Partner Connect will send all documents to this e-mail address.

Login Name

The name the contact uses to log into Trading Partner Connect. This does not have to be the contact's actual name.

Password

The password the contact uses to log into Trading Partner Connect. Though the password is masked in this screen, and thus unreadable, you can still change it in this screen. The new password will also be masked.

Login Status

Login status is either Enabled or Disabled.

Enabled

The contact may log in normally and Trading Partner Connect will send all appropriate alerts and documents to this contact.

Disabled

Trading Partner Connect retains the contact information, but does not use it. The contact may not log into the system, and Trading Partner Connect will not send this contact any documents or alerts.

Phone 1

The contact's primary phone number.

Phone 2

The contact's secondary phone number.

Fax

The contact's fax number.

Website

The address of the contact's website.

Contact Title

The contact's professional title.

Default Report Format

Reports can either be sent as text messages or as .pdf files.

Text

Messages are sent in text format and appear in the body of the e-mail.

PDF

Messages are sent as a .pdf document attached to the e-mail.

Role

This pair of fields show the available roles you can assign the contact, and what roles he's already been assigned. The left field shows the available roles and the right field displays the roles already assigned to the contact. You can adjust the contact's roles by selecting a role and clicking the arrow buttons to shift it from one column to the other.

 

Contact Preferences (Relationships)

This section allows you to choose if the contact receives alerts about trading partner relationships. Each option is a checkbox, and enabling that checkbox causes Trading Partner Connect to send an e-mail alert to the contact whenever the situation it describes occurs. The available options are:

·   Relationship Accepted

·   Relationship Modified

·   Relationship Rejected

·   Relationship Cancelled

·   Relationship Rationalized

·   Relationship Requested

·   Relationship Request Reminder

 

At the top of this section are a pair of buttons: Check All and Uncheck All. Clicking either of these buttons automatically checks or unchecks all the checkboxes in both Contact Information areas.

Contact Information (Inventory)

This section allows you to choose if the contact receives alerts about inventory management. Each option is a checkbox, and enabling that checkbox causes Trading Partner Connect to send an e-mail alert to the contact whenever the situation it describes occurs. The available options are:

·   Item Rationalization

·   Dead Stock Upload Failure

·   Dead Stock GetPA Notification

·   Purchase Order Notification

·   Pricing Service Notification

·   Errorbox Notification

 

Contact Preferences (Reporting)

This section allows you to choose if the contact receives notification that a report has been generated. Currently there is only one option: Evaluation Report.

At the bottom of the screen are three buttons:

Update saves any changes you've made to the contact record.

Delete removes the contact record completely.

Return to Summary returns you to the Contact Information screen without saving any of the changes.
